Summer Theatre Camp

Our camps give actors the opportunity to immerse themselves in what it takes to bring a play to life. Spring Break Theatre Camp is a week-long, full-day acting camp, while our Summer Theatre Camps are two-weeks long, half-day acting camps. All camps culminate in a performance on one of FYT's two stages. 

Grades 1-3

Young actors will spend the summer mornings working together to create and bring to life their own stories on stage.
Monday - Friday, July 11 - 22, 2016 ▪ 9am - 12pm • $150
 

Grades 4-6

Young performers will spend the summer mornings learning vocal production, choreography and characterization as they build towards a performance for an audience on stage.
Monday - Friday, July 11 - 22, 2016 ▪ 9:30am - 12:30pm • $150
 

Grades 7-8

Actors will spend the summer mornings immersed in the techniques needed for a successful performance of short plays for an audience on stage.
Monday - Friday, July 25 - August 5, 2016 ▪ 9am - 12pm • $150
 

Grades 9-12

Actors will spend the summer mornings honing their craft as they create an original show for performance on stage.
Monday - Friday, July 25 - August 5, 2016 ▪ 9:30am - 12:30pm • $150
 

Summer Musical Theatre Camps

Our camps give actors the opportunity to immerse themselves in what it takes to bring a play to life. Summer Theatre Camps are two-weeks long and culminate in a performance for friends and family on the Bower Stage. 

Grades 4-6

Young actors will spend the summer mornings performing scripted plays, written specially for them, using directed movement to build a performance for an audience on stage.
Monday - Friday, July 25 - August 5, 2016 ▪ 9am - 12pm • $175

 

Grades 7-12

Young performers will spend the summer mornings learning vocal production, choreography and characterization as they build towards a performance for an audience on stage.
